Summary of the First Quarter of 2025 in the .UA Domain
As of March 31, 2025, there were 455,350 domain names registered in the .UA domain, including 24,850 private second-level domains.
During the first quarter of 2025, the total number of domains decreased by 0.52%. At the same time, the number of of second level private domains continued to grow — by +108 names over the quarter.

Hostmaster Expands DNSSEC Support in the .UA Domain
 Hostmaster LLC, the administrator of the .UA top-level domain, is launching expanded support for DNSSEC (Domain Name System Security Extensions) to cover even more Ukrainian domains. Starting from March 25, 2025, DNSSEC became available to registrants of public domains such as ORG.UA, NET.UA, IN.UA, and most geographic domains including KHARKIV.UA, LVIV.UA, ODESA.UA, and others.

UA-DRP: Out-of-Court Domain Dispute Resolution Covers All Public Domains in .UA
Starting from February 15, 2025, all public domains within the .UA top-level domain will be subject to out-of-court dispute resolution under the UA-DRP procedure (Domain Name Dispute Resolution Procedure). This marks the final stage of a gradual implementation of a mechanism that allows rights holders to protect their rights effectively without going to court.

.UA domain name market: quaterly report Q4 2024
As of December 31, 2024, the total number of registered domain names in the .UA domain stood at 457,757, reflecting a 0.76% decrease compared to the previous quarter (461,270 domains). The number of private second-level domains increased to 24,742, marking a growth of 91 domain names over the quarter.

Changes in Domain Name Registration for lugansk.ua, zaporizhzhe.ua, nikolaev.ua, and vinnica.ua
 As part of the policy update for second-level domain registration, starting January 1, 2025, the registration of new domain names will be discontinued in the public domains lugansk.ua and zaporizhzhe.ua.
